Surgery Times

Morning surgeries are held between 09:00 - 11:00 by all doctors. Afternoon times vary according to the day of the week and the doctor. Please ask at reception for more details.

An evening emergency surgery is also held between 15:30 - 18:00 offering ten minute slots for single urgent medical problems.

 

Dispensary Opening Times

Monday to Friday  09:00 -13:00 and  14:00 -18:00

This allows the team to complete other daily duties enabling us to get your medication to you in a more timely manner. The team is available should you have any queries.

 

Lunchtimes

The surgery is closed daily from 13:00 to 13:45 for essential administration tasks.

Nights, Weekends & Public Holidays

Outside of normal surgery hours, urgent medical cover is provided by IC24 on 0845 145 0121.

 

For urgent medical issues contact 111 for the NHS Care Service, this service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This service connects you to trained staff who can guide you to the right care, such as an urgent treatment centre, pharmacy or self care advise can give provided

Other ways to contact 111;

  • Help in other languages - call 111 and ask for an interpreter.

 

In an emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Extended Hours Nursing Appointments

We are pleased to offer enhanced access appointments with our nursing team during the following extended hours:

  • Wednesdays: 7:00am – 8:00am

  • Saturdays: Morning appointments available

These extended hours are designed to better suit patients who may find it difficult to attend during regular surgery times.

If these appointment times would work better for you, please speak to our reception team to find out more or to book.

Training and Education Closures

The Practice will have afternoon closures on the following dates in 2026 for training purposes, we close between 12:30pm to 6:30pm:

  • 21st April 2026
  • 16th July 2026
  • 15th October 2026

For 2027 the current confirmed training cluse is for the 9th February 2027.

If you need urgent medical attention during this times please ring the urgent GP service on 01293 698 088.
